Amy Baker lives and writes in the rolling hills of the Driftless Area, just west of Madison. Baker draws inspiration from all aspects of the natural world, and through her fiction she explores the confluence of place, identity, and perception. She is delighted to live in a home with no cell phone coverage, and is perpetually in awe of the discoveries that are possible when we still ourselves long enough to listen. Baker is currently at work on a series of short stories.
