Bruce Beihoff

Bruce Beihoff graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison/Milwaukee with degrees in Mechanical Engineering/Physics. His employment experience of over 40 years includes Black & Veatch, Genereal Electric, UPS, Easton Corporation, Rockwell International, Whirlpool Technologies, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His special fields of interest include system engineering, multi-physics analysis of complex systems, and integrated environment/energy systems. Beihoff has led substantial R&D teams in delivering projects in Industrial Grid Systems, Power Distribution and Protection Systems, Aerospace/Military Systems, Industrial and Process Automation, and Consumer Products. Beihoff holds 47 patents related to broad areas of electrical and mechanical engineering and has been honored with innovation and engineering awards by Eaton, Rockwell, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Beihoff has been a continuing member of the IEEE, ASME, INCOSE, AAAS, SME professional societies and has worked on a number of committees and working groups. Presently he holds a full-time appointment with the Grainger Institute of Engineering, UW-Madison as Technical Director and advisory position as Technology and Innovation Director for M-WERC, the Midwest Energy Research Consortium.
