Chris Kucharik

Chris Kucharik is a Professor at UW-Madison in the Department of Agronomy and The Nelson Institute Center for Sustainability and the Global Environment.  He has affiliate appointments with the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, Agroecology, the Center for Climatic Research, and Freshwater and Marine Sciences.  He is also a member of the research council for the Wisconsin Initiative on Climate Change Impacts (WICCI), and serves as co-chair for the WICCI Agriculture Working Group.

His research program uses fieldwork and numerical modeling to understand the impacts of climate change and land management on ecosystem goods and services.
