Chris J. Lopez-Henriquez is a Summer 2022 editorial intern with the Wisconsin Academy for the quarterly magazine Wisconsin People & Ideas. He was born in Puerto Rico and came to the continental U.S. at the age of 13 to pursue higher education. He went to high school in Green Bay where he was editor of the school newspaper. He is currently studying Philosophy, Political Science, and Creative Writing at UW-Madison. He plans to go to law school and to become an author.
