Laurel Landis grew up in a village in northern Wisconsin, leaving in her twenties to pursue life experience in New York City. It wasn't until years after returning to Wisconsin that Landis began to write and submit stories for consideration. A week-long class with writing guru Judy Bridges (Redbird Studio) at the Clearing Folk School in Ellison Bay helped Landis discover her love for writing. Landis is a meeting planner, and she lives in Milwaukee with her husband Joe.
