Rachel Bruya

Rachel Bruya is an artist who also writes. She was a founding member and regular contributor to Spackle Madison, which was dedicated to covering contemporary art, and co-founder of the Little Galleries in 2013. She has given lectures at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, Kent State University, Auburn University, and California State University-Northridge. She was exhibitions coordinator at James Watrous Gallery from 2014-2016 and was a regular contributor to the gallery blog. Bruya earned an MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2007 and a BFA from the University of Washington (Seattle) in 1998. She is currently an assistant professor at University of Wisconsin-Stout.
