Shania Leask grew up in Red Cliff, WI where she enrolled as a member of the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. Leask attended Bayfield High School and graduated as salutatorian of her class in 2013. She is currently a junior at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where she majors in biology with a concentration in aquatic science.
