In Nirmal Raja’s hands the studio becomes a laboratory for experimentation and unexpected results. Her approach is based on a consistent drive to make, and that making creates a space for inquiry and understanding.

Join guest curator Ann Sinfield for a closer look into process and meaning, and unravel some of the threads that wind through Nirmal Raja's solo exhibition: Asking Questions of a Thread.

The James Watrous Gallery is pleased to present this special talk on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 2:00 - 3:00 pm. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to immerse yourself in art and learn more about Raja's art practice from Sinfield's perspective as the curator of the exhibition.

Advance registration is appreciated as it helps us anticipate attendance. This event is free, and your give-what-you-can donation helps the gallery to continue to support artists and sponsor events. If you are in a position to give, we suggest a $5 to $15 donation.

Register to Attend!
