This changed media landscape can lead to not only questionable coverage of news events, but also questionable actions and reactions. Author of the award-winning The Invention of Journalism Ethics: The Path to Objectivity and Beyond (2005) and Global Journalism Ethics (2010) Stephen J. A. Ward argues for a new journalism ethics and a complete revamping of how we think about the responsibilities of media in this new landscape.
