Tuesday, April 17, 2012 - 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Madison Museum of Contemporary Art Lecture Hall, 227 State St.
Madison
Wisconsin

"Rx for Health Care Reform" offers a probing look at the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and its ramifications in several areas, including public health and the law.  Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel of the University of Pennsylvania headlines a panel of experts who will answer your questions.  This Academy Evening is presented in partnership with the University of Wisconsin Joint Degree Program in Law and Public Health and co-sponsored by the UW Law School and School of Medicine & Public Health. Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel is Diane v.S. Levy and Robert M. Levy Professor and Vice Provost for Global Initiatives at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a former special advisor for health policy at the White House Office of Management and Budget and head of the NIH Department of Bioethics. Dr. Emanuel will be joined by three distinguished panelists: Michael Dolan, MD, Gundersen Lutheran Clinic; Kathleen Noonan, JD, UW Law School; and Karen Timberlake, JD, Director of the Population Health Institute, UW SMPH.
