This second of a series of side-by-side solo exhibitions features Madison artist Scott Espeseth and Milwaukee artist Paula Schulze. Espeseth will show his narrative graphite drawings of images that reflect surprise and uncertainty in our everyday lives. Schulze will present her abstract explorations of maps and the history of ornament in the form of mezzotint prints. Both artists work on an intimate scale to draw the viewer into their diminutive worlds of story and design.
