Artists’ talks beginning at 5:30 pm
Cedarburg painter Jean Roberts Guequierre and Madison fiber artist Diane Sheehan find inspiration in medieval and Renaissance artworks and technological processes. Both combine this inspiration from the past with new materials and processes, creating narrative artworks that reflect contemporary society and, in the case of Sheehan’s work, political unrest.
This exhibition is supported by the Dane County Cultural Affairs Commission with additional funds from the Endres Manufacturing Company Foundation and the Overture Foundation.
