Allison Slavick: Fiction & Poetry winners' live reading series

Allison Slavick shares a reading of her award-winning fiction. Allison is a two-time first-place winner of the Wisconsin People & Ideas Fiction Contest.

Allison lives near Cable, Wisconsin, where she works as a consultant to nonprofit organizations, especially museums, around the country. She is a mountain bike and cross country ski racer and berry picker. Her short fiction has been published in Storyglossia, and won the H.E. Francis/Ruth Hindman Foundation Short Story Award.

This Facebook Live reading series is part of the 150th anniversary celebration of the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts & Letters and our magazine, Wisconsin People & Ideas.
