Jack Harris: Fiction & Poetry winners' reading series

Jack Harris reads his award-winning story, “Aeshnidae,” from the 2018 Wisconsin People & Ideas Fiction Contest.

Jack Harris is the second-place winner of the Wisconsin People & Ideas 2018 Fiction Contest. Originally from Mazomanie, Harris is a Creative Writing and Graphic Design student at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. At Augustana, Harris is pursuing his lifelong passion for creating, especially fiction through his work as Co-Editor-in-Chief at the college’s student art and literary magazine, SAGA. Next fall, he will begin an MFA in Creative Writing at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

This Facebook Live reading series is part of the 150th anniversary celebration of the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts & Letters and our Wisconsin People & Ideas magazine.
