The Past and Future of American International Leadership

Saturday, September 8, 2012 - 6:00am

If the 20th century was the "American Century," what will the 21st century bring? How can the United States maintain its international leadership and build a better world? In his Academy Evening talk UW–Madison history professor and Wisconsin Academy Fellow Jeremi Suri addresses these questions, drawing on his extensive historical research about foreign policy and domestic politics. Recorded on March 31, 2009, at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art Lecture Hall in Overture Center for the Arts.
