Beth L. Lueck has taught American Literature at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater for the past 18 years. Lueck is the author of two books on American travel literature, and, in 2008, she directed a conference at Oxford University on nineteenth-century American women writers traveling abroad. Her current research focuses on Harriet Beecher Stowe and E.D.E.N. Southworth.
