Tim Bate

Tim Bate is the director of Planning, Research and Sustainability for the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District, and was responsible for the engineering and technical planning aspects of the District’s 2020 Facilities Plan. Among his other duties, he is responsible for the development of the total maximum daily load (TMDL) studies of the Menomonee, Kinnikinnic and Milwaukee River watersheds and the Milwaukee Harbor Estuary. Tim received his BS degree in civil engineering from Marquette University, a MS degree in land use planning from UW–Stevens Point, and is a registered professional engineer in the State of Wisconsin.
