Artists' reception for Maggie Sasso & Nathaniel Stern
Maggie Sasso produces conceptual bodies of work that express macrocosmic ideas through microcosmic detail, examines the role of material culture in relationship to our collective past. Sasso received her MFA from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and her BFA from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky where she was born and raised.
Nathaniel Stern is an awkward artist, teacher, and writer who likes awkward art, writing, and students. He holds a joint appointment as Associate Professor between Art+Design and Mechanical Engineering at UW-Milwaukee, and is an Associate Researcher at the University of Johannesburg.
