Dwayne Sperber is a champion of the environment and has dedicated himself to advancing the urban wood industry across the United States. His mission is to support and protect the urban forests by promoting the use of socially responsible and sustainably supplied urban wood.
He is a frequent lecturer and consultant to leaders across sectors, including municipalities, academia, arborists, design professionals, manufacturers and suppliers, advising on the vast potential of this renewable resource and inspiring others to play their own important role in promoting the sustainability movement to create real and lasting change.
Dwayne is a founding member and advisor of the Urban Wood Network and an allied member of AIA Wisconsin. He is also a member of the Wisconsin Arborist Association and a former appointed member of the Wisconsin Urban Forestry Council.
