Milwaukee community advocate and professional basketball player Mike Taylor is the cover story of the fall issue of Wisconsin People & Ideas magazine. We are excited to invite you deeper into the conversation with Taylor at this special event!  Taylor will be talking with writer and friend, Adam Carr, about his vision for the next chapters of his career and hometown. We'll also get to see a new edition of Taylor’s wordless comic book, The Indomitable Legacy of the Underworld Goat, fresh off the presses, and hear from Taylor about what inspires him today.

Join us! A limited number of free issues of Wisconsin People & Ideas magazines will be available to attendees, as well as complimentary copies of the comic book for participants in an upcoming study group. Additionally, photos from artist and photographer Nicole Acosta will be on display, including outtakes from Acosta’s sessions with Taylor.

The conversation will be hosted in collaboration with Near West Side Partners in the Concordia 27 building. This event was made possible by the sponsorship of the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts & Letters, Taylor~Made Foundation and Near West Side Partners.
