Sam Niven holds an MFA in poetry from Johns Hopkins University where they taught fiction and poetry as a Salter Lecturer in the Writing Seminars. They are a PhD student in English at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and their work has been published in the Best New Poets anthology. Sam collects seashells, loves to ride shotgun, and kills a lot of houseplants.
