Emily Mills is a Madison-based writer and musician. She has contributed everything from arts features to political opinions to the Capital Times, Footlights Magazine, Isthmus, and the Wisconsin Gazette, among others. She has also published one novel, The Fix Up (2008), and is currently working on a second novel focused on women who fought as men during the American Civil War. Mills also recently released an album with her band, Little Red Wolf.
