A Milwaukee native, Laura Anne Bird lives in Madison and is the middle grade author of Crossing the Pressure Line and Marvelous Jackson. Laura is an ambassador for the Wisconsin Book Festival, a board member for the Madison Public Library Foundation, and co-founder of the Great Midwest Book Group. She is active on Instagram @laura_at_the_library, where she posts book reviews and celebrates all things literary.
