  • PLL 2019

Nancy Moore was elected to the City Council of Monona, Wisconsin in April of 2017 where she currently serves as the Chair of the Sustainability Committee, Chair of the Plan Commission, Chair of the Facilities Committee, and a member of the Parks and Recreation Board. Moore's commitment to sustainability and the development of renewable energy, especially solar, began back in the late 1970's as an undergraduate at University of Vermont (what she often refers to as the first environmental movement). She is now Managing Partner of the Conservation Consulting Group (CCG), a collective of highly experienced professionals who are passionate about land conservation and dedicated to building the capacity and advancing the mission of nonprofit environmental and conservation organizations throughout the United States. Moore has been a consultant in the nonprofit sector for nearly 20 years. She sees herself as an educator, advisor and coach and applies a keen business acumen, strategic and tactical thinking, and strong marketing and communication skills to all of her projects. She also applies her passion for the natural environment, talents as a group leader and facilitator, and interest in other cultures as an international adventure travel expedition leader for Natural Habitat Adventures in partnership with the World Wildlife Fund.
