Robyn M. Perrin is a freelance writer based in Madison. Her ties to the University of Wisconsin include two postdoctoral research appointments following graduate school in plant biology at Michigan State University. Perrin is also a technical writer for a biotechnology corporation and has professional experience in patent law and technology transfer. She is intrigued by the creativity of entrepreneurship and the serendipity of economic development. When not writing or editing scientific articles, Perrin co-owns and operates Focal Flame Photography LLC together with her husband.
