Sandra Byers (Rock Springs) earned a design degree from Cornell University, where she discovered her love of clay. Her work has been exhibited nationally and is in the collections of the Racine Art Museum, Purdue University (Indiana), the Tweed Museum of Art in Duluth, the Everson Museum of Art in Syracuse, and Arizona State University, among others. She has twice been an Artist in Residence at Kohler Company’s Arts/Industry program, including two solo exhibitions at Kohler Art Center. She lives and works in an old schoolhouse nestled in Rock Springs, Wisconsin.
