Sculptor Gerit Grimm mines a remarkable range of sources for her sculpture. In this short video, she talks about the inspiration behind the pieces in her 2017 James Watous Gallery show, from Greek myth and the story of Jesus to Italian Renaissance painting and ceramics, the work of Friedrich Nietzche, and the death of her father.
