
Carrie Eaton is a UW-Madison alumna, having received an MS in Geoscience in 2004. She’s honed her geology skills working for the National Park Service, the Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey, and the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. She has served as Museum Curator at the UW Geology Museum since 2009. She facilitates research using the museums extensive collection of geological and paleontological specimens, oversees conservation and exhibition projects for the museum, works with undergraduate and graduate students on directed projects, and serves on the Society for the Preservation of Natural History Collection’s Best Practices Committee.
