Erica Kanesaka Kalnay

Erica Kanesaka Kalnay lives in Madison, Wisconsin, where she writes fiction and studies Victorian literature and childhood. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from New York University. Kalnay is the second-place winner of the 2015 Wisconsin People & Ideas Fiction Contest. Her prizewinning story, “Duck, Duck, Goose” is based on some of her experiences teaching in Milwaukee, and is dedicated to the city’s students and educators.
