Hilarie is a climate biologist with the 1854 Treaty Authority, an inter-tribal natural resources agency governed by the Bois Forte Band of Chippewa and Grand Portage Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. Hilarie’s role is to implement the 1854 Ceded Territory Climate Change Adaptation Plan completed in 2016 through collaboration with Bois Forte, Grand Portage and Fond du Lac.
