Lisa Vihos is a poet with works appearing in numerous print and online journals. She has two chapbooks—A Brief History of Mail (Pebblebrook Press, 2011) and The Accidental Present (Finishing Line Press, 2012)—and her poems have appeared in Big Muddy, The Camel Saloon, Forge, Main Street Rag, Mom Egg, Red Fez, Seems, and Verse Wisconsin. Vihos received first place in the 2015 Wisconsin People & Ideas Poetry Contest and has two Pushcart Prize nominations. In addition to her work with One Hundred Thousand Poets for Change, Vihos is poetry and arts editor for Stoneboat Literary Journal. She lives in Sheboygan, and is happily working as a grant writer for the Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership and part-time education coordinator at the Plymouth Arts Center.
