
Stephanie is an intern on the Wisconsin Academy’s Initiatives team. She is a senior at UW-Madison majoring in both Biochemistry and Environmental Studies. While a UW student, she has served as a Recruitment Chair on the Executive Board for the student organization SPILL (Supporting Peers In Laidback Listening), participated in the Undergraduate Research Scholars Program, and worked in the Psychology Department's Addiction Research Lab under Professor John Curtin. Last year, she joined the Wilton Research Project in the Department of Family Medicine where she worked for the Great Lakes Regional Training Center on FASD under Georgiana Wilton.
Stephanie recently became a Nelson Student Ambassador for the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies on campus, where she is a member of the Community Environmental Scholars Program. In the summer of 2014, she interned as a chemist for Cargill Corn Milling down in Memphis, Tennessee.
Stephanie's professional interests center on scientific outreach, specifically related to the environment.
