Susanna Daniel is the author of three novels Stiltsville and Sea Creatures, and Girlfriending (February 2026), which grew directly from her 2023 winning short story, "The Goddess of Illicit Choices." She's also the co-founder of the Madison Writers' Studio, www.madisonwriters.com, and lives in Madison with her kids and dogs.
