Ferne Caulker-Bronson is originally from Sierra Leone, West Africa. She came to Milwaukee for her final year of high school, graduating from Custer High. Ruth DeYoung Kohler
Ruth DeYoung Kohler has become a living legend in Wisconsin over the past few decades as a result of her participation as patron, volunteer, administrator and moving force at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Sheboygan. Her visionary goals as director there since 1972 have raised that institution to an international level, enriching the entire state by its presence.
Robert S. Zigman
Robert S. Zigman, a fifth-generation Wisconsinite, came from a family of farmers and small businessmen. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a journalism degree, but later changed his career to public relations, serving a chairman of the board of a major firm, Zigman-Joseph-Skeen.
George Archibald
A conservation icon and co-founder of the International Crane Foundation, George Archibald has cultivated and revolutionized the preservation of rare crane species and their wetland habitats. In 1973, along with Ron Sauey, he co-founded the International Crane Foundation, located in Baraboo, Wis.
Warrington Colescott
Colescott is a Fellow of the Wisconsin Academy, an Academician of the National Academy of Design, and has won prizes in five of their annual exhibits and has juried their graphic entries three times. He was appointed Printmaker Emeritus by the Southern Graphics Council in 1992, a special honor.
