The Emotional Life of Your Brain, with Richard Davidson

Tuesday, April 3, 2012 - 2:00pm

Richard Davidson appears in his first public talk in Madison connected with his new book, The Emotional Life of Your Brain, co-authored with Sharon Begley. The brain-research pioneer and Wisconsin Academy Fellow offers a new model for our emotions: their origins, their power, and how we can change them if we wish. In his Academy Evenings talk, Dr. Davidson gives us a new and useful way to look at ourselves, develop a sense of well-being, and live more meaningful lives. Presented by the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters in partnership with the Center for Investigating Healthy Minds at Waisman Center. Recorded on April 3, 2012, at UW-Madison's Union South.
