Mary Wehner: Fiction & Poetry winners' live reading series

Mary Wehner shares a reading of her prizewinning poems from the Wisconsin People & Ideas Poetry Contest.

Mary Wehner is a poet and visual artist who lives on the shore of Lake Winnebago in Fond du Lac. A widely published poet, Mary is also author of several letterpress chapbooks and broadsides through Red Hydra Press, and she has spent two sessions as Poet-in-Residence at Penland School of the Craft in North Carolina. Her poem, “Morning’s Detour,” won 2nd place in the Wisconsin People & Ideas 2019 Poetry Contest.

This Facebook Live reading is in celebration of the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters' 150th anniversary and the latest issue of Wisconsin People & Ideas magazine.
