Tryg Jacobson is the former chairman of Jacobson Rost, a $50M advertising agency with offices in Milwaukee and Chicago. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Speech Communications from Macalester College in 1974. He has been a branding resource speaker for TEC international since 1997 and does branding workshops for hundreds of companies across the United States and Canada. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for Orion Energy Systems, SEAS, Lakeland University and Lakeshore Technical College.
In the spring of 2010, Jacobson founded Jake’s Cafe, a creative community and coworking space for right-brained thinkers. It’s his vision to make Jake’s Cafe Wisconsin’s premiere creative problem-solving destinations. Jacobson enjoys sailing, painting, photography, film-making and mentoring new business start-ups. When time permits, he enjoys golf.
